Q: How is nissan quest 2007 or newer?
I am planning to get a used van for family use. Nissan Quest seems to be cheaper one as compared to Toyota Sienna or Honda Odysse. How id Nissan Quest as a family van?? What type of gas it takes-Premium?

Q: how to replace corner lights on nissan quest and how to remove headlight?
i have a 2001 nissan quest GXE and the corner lights need to be replaced. the corner lights are the ones on the farthest light bulb on each side, that are suppose to help you when turning. nissan dealer told me whole head light needs to be removed to get to them, but being a mechanic i can usually snake my hands in tight areas, so if possible is there a way around removing the whole assembly? if not how do i remove the head lights?
A: First you: Pop the hood open
Second you: look for where the Headlights are located, there will be some screws there.
Third you: take the screws off, and be care full when taking the headlights off that they won't fall on you. I've had experience doing this
Q: Why is it that the earlier gernerations of the Mercury Villager and the Nissan Quest look exactly the same?
Usually Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln vehicles look similar because their all part of the Ford Motor Company. But I thought Nissan isn't part of the Ford Motor Company. Yet the Nissan Quest and the Mercury Villager look exactly alike. Why is that?
A: Because it is the same. Ford made a deal with Nissan to make small changes to the Quest and sell it as a Mercury. See this story on Wiki:

You are correct in that Nissan is not (nor have they ever) been part of Ford or vice versa. It was just a business deal, like the Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix or the Volkswagen Routan/Chrysler Town and Country (although the VW has some different sheetmetal).
Q: When driving the 2007 Nissan Quest, eye irritating fumes comes- Ay suggestions?
I bought this new 2007 Nissan Quest. Recently when I drive it, some kind of fumes (colorless, odorless) comes that irritates the eyes. This happens when the fan is on mainly, but I noticed it when the fan is off too. When A/C on, I do not notice it much. I haven’t tried with heater on. Any suggestions?
A: check you heater core see if your losing coolant thats whats irritating your eyes

I have a nissan quest Special edition.
have not used my car for about 5 months, all this time that did not use the car battery when dead. I used jumper cables to start the car, to day when I start the car, and I put the rear gear the camera car's did not work , and also when I was trying to listen to some music the radio dint work too.
I check the fuses and the fuses are good
please any helps

A: under the hood their is a second fuse panel check fuses there . if still having the problem bring the van to the dealer

A: P1325 code will not set a check engine light. However the knock sensor is under the intake plenum and intake manifold better get ready for coolant hoses and other parts it is difficult to get to. good luck

A: Sounds like you really want a new car. I've definitely been there. I used GovernmentAuctions.org and found a nice Chevy Truck a few months ago that was available at a police auction. You can search for what you want on that site, plus attend live auctions or bid online. I highly recommend it.

A: Unfortunately, you will need to have a complete transmission overhaul. Given the age of the vehicle, it may well be cheaper to find a used transmission from a wrecking yard. A friend of mine has two of this generation Quests, and one he uses for parts.
Remember that this same vehicle was also sold as a Mercury Villager, so a used transmission from either will work fine.
If you have a mechanic that you trust, have an honest chat with him about the overall condition of the vehicle before putting out $1000.00 or more. It may not be worth putting money into, given its age.
