I am thinking of getting a jeep commander. Is the third row useful for adults? I have a family of five give me your opinions.
A: The 3rd row on every SUV out there excluding the Suburban and it's sibs are painfull to anyone over 5 feet tall. The Expedetion, Tahoe, and Sequoia offer a third row that is almost bearable, but not for any distance over 20 min.
Q: What engine is better for a Jeep Commander a V6 or V8?
I've been looking at cars and saw a really nice jeep commander. I was wondering what is the better engine to pull the weight of the truck.
A: Depends on you if your not hauling or towing the 3.7 is fine no problems merging on the highway. but if your gonna tow depending on how much either go with the 4.7 or the 5.7 Check out reviews and test drives on Youtube and that should help.
actually the Commander xk only weighs 4400 not 4800 or 4900 thats only 400 more than the liberty/nitro with the same 3.7 so not really as bad as people would make it out to be. go drive one.
Q: Where is the fuse box in 2006 Jeep Commander?
Does anyone know where the fuse box is at on a 2006 Jeep Commander. I recently got a transmission rebuild and after that my 4x4 doesn't work. The guy won't fix it. I read some forums that is it possible that the 4x4 fuse had blown when installing the transmission. Does anyone know where I can look for this? Thanks in advance.

My friend has a 2006 jeep commander and still isnt too familar with it... in the back seat he knows how to fold the left and right side up so you can stuff more things in the trunk... but how can we fold the middle seat up? or does it go up at all? lol

A: i have a 2006 jeep commander too ichanged the clock yesterday i didnt know how but i figured it out there is a button that says time press on it for like 2-5 sec then there is two round things that change the volume ant the other for the setting use the settings one which is on the right twist it to change time then press it to go to the next number then when finished press time again.

The Auto channel "Gear One" has these short programs called "Bytes". They have awsome background music. (Like the one in the Jeep Commander Video). If anyone by chance know the names of these music, will be really appricated!

Q: Is the 2007 Jeep Commander IPod capable?
For Christmas, I want to get my sister a way to play her Ipod in her car, which is a 2007 Jeep Commander. We have gotten FM Transmitters before but they have always had to much static Interference. If her car is not IPod compatable then can someone recommend a good FM transmitter that blocks static. Also, her car does have the GPS system and the intertainment center if that helps at all.
A: Negative.. Thou it depends on the stereo system installed in the Commander. Installing an after market stereo system which allows for the iPod's USB connection would be your next option.
