Q: Anyone have problems with cd player in 2007 Hyundai Sonata?
I bought my sonata new in 2007. I have the single cd player and after about 1.5-2 hours of continuous play, the cd starts skipping and is very hot when i remove it. It takes the player at least an hour to recover to be able to play a cd again without skipping. This is frustrating for long trips. Anyone else have this problem? Is this the best i can expect from a factory installed player? Thanks.

A: The car should be under warrenty... so go have it repaired. The only way for it to work correctly is to have it repaired or replaced. I have 2 Hyundai cars and have no problem with the CD and one I play all the time.

Q: how many gallons of gas can fill up a 2007 Hyundai Sonata?
How many gallons does the tank takes?

A: 13 Gallon

Q: How can I program my 2007 Hyundai Sonata Remote?

A: only Hyundai Dealer can do this for you, mostly not covered by warranty. They have a compatible scanner or so called GDS doing the reprogramming. This laptop is not available elsewhere on the aftermarket business. You might get away with no charges, depends who are you talking too.

Q: Does a 2007 Hyundai Sonata GLS have a drivers power seat?

A: Yes and no. They didn't come standard in the GLS. You would've had to order a factory installed package that included power seats. The wiring harness needed is very different.

Q: 2007 Hyundai Sonata intermittently will not start?
The car turns over just fine. But at times just will not start. Its only happened twice and it is at the dealer right now but they cannot produce the same issue. I have heard that there was/is some sort of engineering design flaw centering around the car key/ignition system/fuel pump on the 2007 Sonata SE but I don't how much merit to give that. They said that they are going to replace the fuel pump on it as an act of "good faith". I will still not be sure that the issue is fixed. HyundaiGuru, or someone that may be familiar with this issue can you shed some light on this for me? Should a new fuel pump take care of this for me?

A: I would question the fact it is the fuel pump.. sounds like something else. Hyundai Guru I'm sure can give you a good answer. Just wish I could be of more help.

Q: any negative comments about 2007 Hyundai Sonatas?
I'm looking at buying a used 2007 sonata V6 it was a former rental car it has 13,000 miles and they want $15,000 for it.

A: Good reliable car, but handling is quite soft. More luxury than sport, if you like that sort of thing.

Q: The 2007 Hyundai Sonata GLS (stock number) Gets how many miles per gallon on the highway?

Q: Alarm system on a 2007 Hyundai Sonata?
I was sitting in my car (Sonata) on the passenger side while by husband ran into the store, the car was not locked and the alarm system started going off. The horn and flashers honked/flashed 4 times and then stopped and then it did it again about 13 times in row...why did this happen and how do I prevent it from happening again. Can it be disabled? I looked in the owners manual and couldn't find any help. Yes he took the keys with him and the doors were unlocked

A: ok... lock all the doors and trunk and take leave with the keys for a few mins. if it is still going off try openng all the doors and trunk. if it STILL wont work take it to the dealer or cut the speaker wire.

Q: IS 2007 Hyundai Sonata w/XM 5M better than Accord or Camry or Altima?
I am planning to buy a car in few weeks...I will be doing more miles in 1st few months.....arnd 200 miles per day...which is a better option...

A: Take any of the Jap models mentioned, just leave the korean aside. Not anti-korean product but save your wallet and time.

Q: 30000 mile service needed for a 2007 sonata?
I have a 2007 hyundai sonata. The dealer is telling me that I need to do 30000 mile service and will cost me $400.00. Does the manufacturer recommend this?

A: Yes and no. In order the uphold the warranty you have to do the recommended services. You just don't have to do them all at once or even at the dealer. If you wanted to do an oil change one month then a trans flush the next that's fine; even if they are at different places. Just make sure they are done by a certified mechanic and keep all records of service to show Hyundai in case you need warranty work. The only real advantage a dealer has is that they will keep a record of service in a database for reference. It would be harder to argue against warranty work since records are shown in their database and they are the ones servicing the car. Of course they should know the car better then a regular shop but Hyundai's aren't that hard to work on. Taking it to a good shop shouldn't be a problem.

Q: I have a 2007 hyundai sonata.Would changing my factory radio to an aftermarket void my warranty?

A: no, but thats going to be the highest value thing in your car

Q: What is the 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time for 2007 Hyundai Sonata 4 Cylinder??
?!

A: I searched and could not find this information anywhere on the web. I found that the V6 auto does 0-60 in a quick 7.5 seconds, so I'd say the 4 does it in about 8.5-9 seconds. The 4 cylinder is a good match for most people since it has 160+ horsepower and torque, though if you are looking for speed you better go with the 3.3L V6.

Q: 2007 Hyundai Sonata or a 2006 Nissan Altima?
Why?

A: I would say the 06 Altima. Nissans have excellent warranties of 60,000 miles or 5 years. If anything goes wrong bring it to the dealer even if you bought it privately and they will fix it no questions asked. Also if you're thinking about exit strategy the Nissan Altima will be way easier to sell. Hope that helps.

Q: I own a 2007 Hyundai Sonata with the 3.3 liter motor. Are there any anti-sway bars available for this model?

A: Good luck - I cannot find them either - I was going to have a machine shop make me a set plus the brackets to mount them to the frame. Not exactly considered a "performance car" so performance parts are hard to find. MIss my SHO

Q: what is the difference between tht 2007 Sonata SE features, specs etc... and the 2007 Hyundai Sonata SE XM?

A: I did a comparison of both on the site below and the only difference on there was the XM had tire pressure monitoring system and the car was $500 more then the SE (which it says is discontinued) http://db.theautochannel.com/db/HyundaiReviews/compare_details.php?car1=21244&car2=19577&car3=&car4=
