I have an 2003 GT V6 tiburon should I put an turbo kit on it ?need an opinion. I need an engineers opinion what would work the best.
A: Ask anyone who has taken a stock car and added a turbo kit to the car what they think. Most will tell you the car drove awesome...until the turbo went out, or some other engine problem developed. The transmission also will wear faster as its not designed to handle the additional power you will be putting through it. Putting a turbo on a car is a great idea, as long as you have a back up car or alot of money to spend on future engine repairs as you will find out soon enough. If you want a fast turbo car, sell your Tiburon and find yourself a Mazdaspeed3, 263 HP 2.3L turbo hotrod for about $23K new, you can't beat that! Or how about a used 350Z for about $14K for a 2003 model?
Q: How well does the Hyundai Elantra's ipod connectivity work with older model ipods?
I recently purchased a 2009 Hyundai Elantra and i would like to use it with my ipod. I know that you can go out and buy the cord from Hyundai to connect the ipod to the audio system directly but i have questions about the compatibility of that cable with an old dock connecter ipod (2003).
Does anyone have any experience using an older ipod with the Hyundai connecter?
A: It doesn't have a doc connectivity (aux but no doc).. There no built in doc connector. You can buy the ipod doc that plugs into lighter socket. This should work. The newer ipods are the ones that are incompatible with the older accessories
Q: Why my Hyundai 1998 does not start when the battery and alternator are still good?
Why my Hyundai accent 1998 does not start? My battery is new and the alternator is in good condition. When I started the engine, I could hear the starting sound of the engine but the engine never started running at all.

Q: Hyundai Drivers - How reliable and problem free has your vehicle been and would you buy another Hyundai?
I am looking at the Hyundai Tuscon or the Hyundai Santa Fe.
I like the Santa Fe b/c it just has a stronger feel. I like the doors. I'm concerned about MPG.
I like the Tuscon for its size and environmental ratings.

A: I have two Hyundai cars, both bought new... a 2003 Tiburon, by its performance I bought a 2007 Azera Limited for my wife. Both are great cars. If to do over I'd still buy these cars. The next time I look for a new car, by the performance of these two cars, I'll be looking at Hyundai cars. I have in the past owned Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Cadillac, Toyota, among others and while I will not run any of these cars down, the 2007 Azera is the best car I've ever owned. I do pay cash for them so I can afford what I want. (any one who doesn't believe that, put your money where your mouth is and I'll show you the titles)
I have a 3.8L in the Azera and get just as good if not better gas mileage than my so called American made car with a 3.0L engine.
Q: What can be causing my 2002 hyundai accent to not start or stall at stops?
I have a 2002 Hyundai accent that has stalled a few times when I have been at a stop light and it wont turn back on for 20 minutes. other times when i try to turn it on it just wont start. it is getting very frustrating and i would like any advice!
A: Dirty fuel filter or clogged injectors. Plugs may be old.
Q: How to replace the headlight fuse on a 2003 Hyundai Elantra?
I'm trying to replace the left headlight fuse on my Hyundai Elantra, but all I get when I search online is referrals to other places. I've tried Hyundai Forums, but it won't let me register or log in.
Could someone please give me instructions on how to do it?
A: In most cars the headlights are fused together in other words if the fuse burns out the headlights go out. If one light is out you need to check the bulb not the fuse.
Q: How many miles can I expect from a hyundai engine?
I'm thinking of buying a 2002 Hyundai Sonata, except the engine already has 102,000 miles on it. I'm tied up for money and the vehicle itself looks nice. I'm just curious to know how many miles these (not sure if it's 4 or 6 cyl on this model) engines usually live up to? Thanks!
A: People who automatically say "Hyundais are crap" are pretty ignorant. Infact, every year from 2002-2006 Hyundai tied toyota for initial quality...for this year, a survey of 27,000 vehicle owners shows that Hyundai has BEATEN toyota by leading in 5 categories, while toyota lead in NONE.
Hyundai is building a great car for not a lot of money. I had a 1996 accent and I put over 400,000 miles on the original engine. When I sold it it wasn't using a DROP of oil, and still got close to 40mpg on the highway.
Like any car, if you the sonata in question has been reasonably maintainted, and if you keep up on the maintenance you should be fine. I would change the timing belt first thing though.
Q: How much is the overage charge for miles on a 2008 Hyundai Sonata lease?
I am considering taking a job which will require me to use my 2008 Hyundai Sonata, which is a lease. I am reimbursed for my miles, so is it worth it to just take the mileage reimbursement each week and put it in a savings account until the end of my lease and then just pay the overage charge? How much does Hyundai charge per mile for exceeding the limit?
It is a 31 month lease with a 31,000 mile limit.

Q: How to turn on fog lights on my hyundai elantra?
Can't for the life of me turn on these freaking lights. My dad even tried and we both feel stupid. So my 2002 hyundai elantra, where is the freaking switch for the fog lights? And no it is not on the light switch on the left (with the turn signal), I've tried didn't work.
A: But that's where it is; on the turn signal stalk to the left of the steering wheel. You have to turn on the headlights first, then the fog lights will come on. They will not come on if your headlights aren't on. Actually, you're not suppose to have the fog lights on without the headlights.
Q: How do you remove the dash of a 1999 hyundai tiburon?
Im trying to remove the dash of my 1999 hyundai tiburon to paint it. I have already removed all of the panels except the one above the steering wheel. I cant find out how to get it off, i have removed a lot of the screws, and it is almost off. It seems to be stuck around the nob where you change it from cold to hot air. Any help would be appreciated, and if you know of an online manual dealing with this please leave the link.
A: To pull it completely off you need to go down by the gas pedal and unhook the wire for your heat control, it will be tucked up and it should be the only metal wire attached to something up there. - That's from one guy's post on a forums site.

I really love my car, but it doesnt have cruise control nor a car starter. Would it be possible to install these two things (especially the cruise control) on my 2000 Hyundai Accent? It doesnt have an option for cruise control from the factory, as far as I know.
