Q: Why does 1996 Honda Accord LX Oil Light Flickers at idle speed?
I have a 96 Honda Accord LX (4 cylinder) and I have noticed the oil light started flickering at idle speed (when I have the clutch engaged and sometimes shifting if I don't give it enough gas and the RPMs get low). The oil level is fine when I check. I recently changed the oil myself (usually do) but I can't say for certain the problem started after this. I was hoping it may just be an electrical issue but I doubt it. Anyone know the most likely problem? Thanks.

A: the Accord uses an A20. If you're trying to swap another motor in there you might as well forget about it. There was a company that used to make motor mounts for the 3rd gen Accord, but they either closed up shop or just don't make them anymore.

It's for the 3rd generation accords like yours. On there you'll find peple who have been able to swap the B18 and others in to there Accords. Keep in mind, it's not easy.
You might want to just save up for a CRX or a Civic.There are more parts and options open for those cars.

A: Basically Ex adds a VTEC motor, Sunroof/Moonroof, Antilock brakes/ 4 wheel disc brakes, 15" alloy wheels, and a rear stabilizer bar, also the EX had optional leather seats. (which now they call EX-L's)

A: there should be a buzzer box under the dash,you just have to unplug it.The problem with your speed O is not the gauge itself it is the cable,replace the cable and that will should fix your problem.
Q: How can I order another key for my Honda Accord Lx?
I have a 2003 Honda Accord Lx, and when I bought it from the dealer I was only giving one key. The dealer has yet not givin me the other key. I ask and they keep promising they will get it but its been forever. I would rather get it myself but I don't know where to look. I checked the Honda web sites and have not found anything that says where you can order keys. If I lose the key I have then I'm screwed. Please Help??
A: You should try and contact Honda directly. Call the dealership and tell them you want to know the phone number of the person who oversees their territory - then call that person and complain. I can bet you'll get your key without much trouble.
Another solution is to go to another dealership and tell them them story. They can obviously make you a new key (they have the key codes available for every Honda ever produced). They may give it to you free as a courtesy and charge the other dealer for it. That's what happened in my case.
But I would not hesitate to call or email the person who is in charge of the territory for your dealership and complain - complain directly to Honda. You will definitely get results.

A: The Transmission Control Module is located in the center console, in front of the shifter. The ECU is on the left, the TCM is on the right. Once you get the console off it should not be hard to replace.
There are several sensors and solenoid assemblies on the transaxle.
Those are not common failure items - what sort of symptoms do you have?

A: Shouldn't have an expansion valve. There should be an orifice tube in the refrigeration line before it enters evaporator usually near firewall.

A: the lights bulbs are probably just old and not as strong as they were. U can get new indiglow gauges on ebay for about $30-50.

A: you need to have someone take out the back panels and see if the springs are gone in the retractors...(it's a 14 yr old car...they're bound to give out sooner or later..)
