Q: What year model engines are compatible with dodge caravan 1999?
I have a Dodge Caravan 1999, would an engine from the same model, year 97-2003, fit? Do all the mini vans from those years have the same engine, or are they at least compatible?
A: what engine does it have in it now because not all of them are compatible depending on what transmission it has in it,the 3.0 is a one of kind engine,and needs to be replaced with another 3.0,97-01 will fit on the 3.0 engines,and that's the most common engine found in those vans,if you change engine sizes you also have to change the wiring harness,s and computers on them the 3.0 is Mitsubishi engine,good luck.

I have a 2006 Dodge Dakota. I would prefer to have a hard cover that locks. Problem is that I am a broke college student and need one as inexpensive as possible. What is the best place to find one for a very very low price. Ebay didn't seem to have much. I dont care if its used, from hong kong, or anything, just cheap. Do you know of any other sites out there that have them for extremely cheap?

Q: How much should I pay for a 1973 dodge charger?
My dream car is a 1973 dodge charger, and I am planning on buying a used one, but I don't know how much to pay. That and any other infoation about this car, wouldd be great.
A: you,ll have to wait and actually see what you find, a good one for those cars are selling anywhere from 1500 bucks all the way up to 5-6 grand just for one to restore right now,the better the condition of one you find the more you,ll have to pay for it but the less work you,ll have to do to it,good luck

How do you replace the battery of a 2002 Dodge intrepid. Seems to be harder to get to than i thought it would be.
A: if I remember correctly, the battery is on the drivers side and the way to get to it is to turn your steering wheel all the way to the left, then you will see an access panel in the fender well, remove battery strap and replace battery

Q: If my 1990 Dodge ram van is low in ATF, will that keep it from even cranking when i try to start it?
I have a Dodge Ram cargo van, V-6 engine, 1/2 ton.
If the ATF is low (from perhaps not having filled it enough after replacing the neutral saftey switch(?)) would that keep the engine from cranking or starting? If this isn't possible, I'll try the starter next.
A: If it's "low" I'll say no. Totally evaportated, maybe yes, but remember this is transmission fluid for shifting. You're not doing that when starting. Driving might be another problem. But no, low ATF is down on the list for things to check for when trying to figure out why a car won't start.
And on edit: the two things that keep a car from starting are spark and fuel. Either it's not getting fuel (fuel filter clogged, pump is shot) or it's not getting spark (electricity), meaning anything from the coil to the spark plugs. It could be a variety of things, but I doubt it's your AT fluid.
Q: What should be the clearance height for a 1997 dodge neon?
Looking underneath the car there is only about 5 or 6 inches of clearance. Even less if the car is loaded down. Is this normal for a dodge neon and if so is there anything I can get to raise it up a bit.
A: If you really need to raise your neon up, 2gen neon springs will lift up your 1st gen neon.

Q: What is the normal oil pressure on a 2009 dodge ram?
I have a 2009 dodge ram with a hemi and when its fully warmed up, the digital oil pressure senser shows 16 psi at idle and still in drive. Thats the lowest ive seen it so far. It's only got 1900 miles on it so it should be normal but that just seems really low to me.
A: some of them will read as little as 15-20 pounds at idle but as soon as the throttle is opened up just a slight bit it will rise a lot,not seen to many 09 ,s around yet but i have seen one that the person was concerned about the oil pressure on and the dealer told them that it was normal,if you think something is wrong take it back and have them check it,its under warranty,good luck.

I just bought a 2009 Dodge Charger. I want to add a Viper alarm/remote start and dual flowmasters. Will Dodge void my warranty because I added the remote start and the dual flowmasters to the car?
A: no they wont void the warranty just because you added those things to it,anything that affects the emission system might void it but adding mufflers wont void it nor will the remote start,good luck.
